Evangelos Diamantopoulos

Graduated from the Department of Mediterranean Studies of the University of the Aegean with a major in International Relations and Organizations. As part of his undergraduate studies he wrote a dissertation, which was evaluated as excellent by a three-member committee, entitled The Relations between Greece and FYROM after the Breakup of Yugoslavia and the Independence of FYROM (1991). In 2010 he graduated from the M.A. program Middle East Studies of the American University in Cairo (AUC). His thesis’ title was Euro-Mediterranean Partnership: The Political Economy of Labor Migration in the Mediterranean Region, 1995-2008. He is former president and founding member of the Hellenic Society of AUC. He speaks Greek, English, and to a lower level French and Arabic. He is a member of CEMMIS since September 2011.
