Dimitris Papanikolaou

Dimitris Papanikolaou

He graduated from the Department of International and European Studies at the University of Piraeus in 2017. In the same year, he completed an internship at the B3 Directorate of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, responsible for Economic Relations with the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. He continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Granada, focusing on Trends in Islamic Thought and Managing Diversity and Coexistence, obtaining his Master’s degree with Honors. In the same city of Spain, she worked as a researcher and Assistant Project Manager at the non-profit organization Euro-Arab Foundation for Higher Studies, where he participated in a variety of research projects on topics such as the integration of refugees, Islamophobia and de-radicalization. In Greece, he has also been a researcher at the Institute of International Economic Relations. In addition to Greek, he also speaks English, Spanish and is learning Arabic. He joined CEMMIS in October 2019.
